As we have been previously informed, the marriage between Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz was completely pre-arranged and neither had a say in the matter.
 
Igneous was raised hard in his traditional beliefs and accepted his role very easily. As the sole Pie heir, he steeled himself and prepared to work hard into his traditions of sustaining a high matriartch, bearing 2 - 3 heirs, and living a normal (boring) life on the family rock farm.
 
Cloudy, though being also raised in a traditional family, did not feel as comfortable living out a life already prepared for her. She didn’t like the fact that she was marrying a stallion nearly more than twice her age, but reluctantly accepted it for fear of disownment and disappointment.
 
So all in all, not a very happy matrimony.
