Description

Some people in the comments to my little statistical research pointed out that it would be more accurate to exclude screencaps and edits. So here it is - all new 2.0 version of the statistics without edits and screencaps. And results… are mostly the same. Surprisingly.

Yes, it would be. It also would take more time, and this was a very quick thing that I did out of curiosity in 20 minutes or so.

If I ever make a quantity/score graph I’ve talked about earlier, I’ll probably make a graph version of this also.

“Will there be porn?” is not the question that I’m trying to answer here. Cause yes, there will be, and I think, as you said, everyone knows that already. The question is how many.

it’s like you guys don’t know that internet is for porn. porn was, porn is and porn will be. every single fandom devolves into porn
i can bet that the very last piece of FIM OC ever made will be a porn picture

Porn definitely is commonly more upvoted. There’s a lot of great safe art that’s barried below 100 score, but if porn is even just barely desent it will get 100+ easily.

I can see porn and safe art evening out if we’re to try to use some sort of score threshold. It could be an interesting continuation of this research. But I’m not sure how to do it in the best way. Just applying a static threshold (like 100 score or 200) could not give us much. But there’s no fast way to count how much which tag gets upvoted. To plot out like a curve of upvotes(y) to quantety(x) for each tag and compare them or something like that. That would take too much work with the way this search works. But it would also be the best way to do it.
