Same for pegasi. They can’t fly without magic.
Yeah, if you paid attention, the two times Discord is depowered in the show (after Tirek drained him, and in the anti-magic field of the Changeling Hive), he never once fly at all. Meaning he needs his magic to do so, and the wings flapping are mostly for show.

Considering they’re mismatched, I doubt he could use them properly even if he wanted to.
Discord never actually use them. They are just for decoration.
