After the first dance, Scootaloo wondered if Flurry Heart had a gala partner and so, she went and asked her. Flurry Heart didn’t have any partner, so Scootaloo asked her if she would be her partner for the gala, since her friend Dinky she wanted to attend the gala with could not come.  
Flurry Heart agreed and so, Scootaloo and Flurry started their first dance of the night.  
It was the start of something that should change a lot for both fillies, even though they weren’t aware of this yet.  
They danced and later went to the announcement of the Gala Royals. While dancing with the happy couple, unexpected feelings started to rise….. Something like butterflies in their stomachs?  
After this dance was over, too, Flurry and Scoots headed to the buffet to stuff their stomachs, as all the dancing left them both exhausted.
