too much sappy happy?

Petunia looks over her granddaughter Athena while she takes a nap. The grandmare won’t lie - the arrival of Athena into the world was met with a few mixed feelings. Of course she was happy for her daughter that she’d found someone she truly loved (and, to be fair, Discord was mostly on his best behavior around her and Nimbus), but there were times the draconequus and his strange magic was rather off-putting.

Petunia was incredibly nervous throughout the duration of Fluttershy’s pregnancy, though Athena wasn’t as crazy in there as had been expected. When told that Fluttershy had gone into labor and hadn’t made it to the hospital, her poor parents were terrified. When they finally found out Discord had somehow gotten her to Sweet Apple Acres and she had already given birth, they rushed right over. At first the anxious pegasi, Petunia especially, were nervous about meeting their grandchild, simply not knowing what to expect.

And what they found when Fluttershy pulled back the blanket was an incredibly fuzzy, little bundle of gray fur and white hair that seemed to stick in every direction. And in that moment, Petunia realized that she was a grandmare. She was a grandmare to this truly wonderful little being.

Of course, then the baby sneezed and steam shot from her ears. Discord took the next half hour reassuring everyone that this was perfectly normal draconequus chick behavior.

However, Petunia adores her strange little grandchild, and spoils Annie and her grandson Mellow Vibes simply to death. Though at times she’s surprised her Nana and Papa with her magic, Athena always makes sure to stay on her best behavior.
Carrot Cake gives Chiffon Swirl some nuzzles. I love these two, I demand at least one episode.
Marble in a scarf because i wanted to draw marble.
Treehugger doodle. I love drawing this character, but coloring her dreads takes forever. I wonder what Zephyr has to say about those…
Okay so in all honesty I’ve seen like two episodes of Doctor Who, so my knowledge about it is about as limited as you can get. However this ship is just so incredibly adorable, born from some ideas some fans had. I always find how interactive MLP has been with its fans (some good instances, some not so) pretty cool.
