Story:
Five years after Spike and Rarity got married, in order to strengthen the alliance between the Dragon and Equine Kingdoms, the elder Dragons called upon an old tradition, which involved two champions from both Kingdoms to be married. While Ember was the obvious choice for the Dragon Kingdom she ended up going to Spike due to him being the only Dragon ever raised among Ponies. While Spike did like Ember, he was somewhat hesitant at first due to his relationship with Rarity. But Rarity managed to convince him to go through with it, believing that not only that it would help Equestria, but also give Spike someone to be with throughout his long lifespan. After agreeing to an open relationship, Spike eventually went through with it.
Before temporarily leaving for the Dragon Lands, Spike urged Rarity to find someone to “keep her company”, not wanting their open relationship to be one-sided. During that time Rarity went gem-hunting (while Twilight babysat Crystal Clarity) and came across Maud in the Diamond Dog Mines, who was inspecting possible fault-lines. Sadly during their search a cave-in forced them to take the long way out, which takes three days. During their journey, Rarity slowly started to see a huge range of emotions behind Maud’s seemingly stoic exterior, while Maud came to admire Rarity’s eye for detail when they found themselves in a crystal cave, after they exited the cave Rarity thought back on Spike’s words and asked Maud out on a date…

Wow, way to show how much of a bigot you are.
If you hate women being with women that much then maybe you should actually filter the tag, or better yet, leave this site since it’s chock-full of stuff like that.
Dude, Lauren left a while ago. Plus this is mostly for fun, not every rule has to be strictly the same as the show’s.
Genderswap spells exist for a reason.
