Spike: Sweetie Belle! (rushes to rescue her and catches her.) Sweetie Belle. Are you all right? (notices his hands and claws are touching her plot and cutie mark, he blushes.)
Sweetie Belle: Thanks Spike. Can you keep me steady while I finish the job with the paint. (Sweetie Belle doesn’t notice his hands on her flank and plot.)
Spike: (blushing) Are you sure Sweetie Belle?
Sweetie Belle: Just don’t let go of me, hang on until I’m done with the paint. (Doesn’t pay attention to Spike holding and fondling her plot. Spike holds on to Sweetie Belle by the flank, she continues painting while swaying her flank and wiggling her plot.)
Spike: (holding Sweetie Belle by her plot with his hands and claws blushing looking at her plot wiggling while holding her plot and accidentally traces his hands and claws slowly but gently on her flank and plot, tracing squiggles on her flank.)
Sweetie Belle: Oh! (reacts to Spike running his hands and claws on her plot, she blushes.) (Giggling) Hehehehehe Th-th-th-th-th-that tickles Spike. (Laughing) (Sweetie Belle cooing and laughing while Spike unintentionally tickles her plot with his claws, she continues to wiggle her plot and hips now in a sexy rhythm.) Hahahahaha Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle that sexy plot (she started singing and bouncing her flank and plot until she started wiggling her plot in a sexy fast motion moving left and right) RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrramba wiggle wiggle wiggle RRRRRRRRR! (She let out a sexy purr while wiggling her flank. Finally she stopped dancing and bouncing, she no longer felt Spike touching her plot as soon as she was done painting she climbed down the ladder.) Spike I’m all set. Spike? (The unicorn filly looked down and saw Spike lying on the ground, his was bright pink and he suffered a huge nosebleed from the event while holding Sweetie Belle, He was unconscious while in a daze.) Spike are you all right? Maybe you should go to the doctor you look like you lost alot of blood.

Now everyone’s wondering why they’re not aging
Or be an adult dwarf dragon completely surrounded by a society of naked females. ;D
Hmm… I suppose if you added some sort of preservative and mixed it with a clear varnish it might keep the lustre… It would probably only mix well with water-soluble paints, since oil-based ones would probably just layer themselves with the blood. I would suggest small-scale experiments to get a good mixture, before you go out and harvest virgins or something similarly ghastly.
But if it were mixed in with actual paint?
Time to put the theory into practice!

You’d end up with a very low-quality, flaky coat of paint that after drying would look like a very unappealing dark brown or black. Painting anything with blood would be a very impractical chore, and you’d need a new coat of blood every few hours to keep it fresh.
