I was more so referring to their inability to properly structure their team so at least they have more than two or three Pokemon to call up on, if they were smart they would have picked a team comprised of various Pokemon they’ve had in the past. For example:
Starlight (Jessie):
Arbok
Seviper
Mimikyu
Gourgeist
Frillish
Wobbuffet
James (James):
Weezing
Mareanie
Victreebel
Cacnea
Carvine
Mime Jr.
I remember they would always forget to protect the mech against something. Like it’s shock proof but not fire proof (and then the Pokémon of the episode gets to show off, destroying their mech).
That’s not what I mean. Every episode involves those idiots getting the upper hand and yet they still manage to shoot themselves in the foot.
Fair point, they’d actually be smart enough to keep most of their Pokemon instead of just leaving them behind after every region.
