Shame legal troubles (especially with the random stock/movie footage, especially of “The 3 Stooges”) is keeping that show from DVD, or reairing. While “Muppet Babies” gets flack from Millennials for starting the cheap “XXX Kids” genre of spinoff cartoons/shows, (Examples “Flintstones Kids,” “A Pup Named Scooby-Doo,” “Yo-Yogi,” ect.) it was actually one of the few that did it right as the Muppets were still very in-character, it had a nice large variety in it’s cast, (much like MLP:FiM) the pop-culture humor was very modern, and well done, and the show still retained the Muppets’ trademark sillyness, and even their edgyness. (Including some “Getting crap past the radar” humor.)

And best of all, it didn’t really talk down to kids.

These choices make more sense than any made throughout the last two movies. If Hasbro were do a retelling of Star Wars with MLP characters, I’d certainly watch it. And the toys would sell out faster than KISS.
