Same reason ANY ship starts sailing users see qualities in characters that go together in sometimes odd ways… Tbh he is not as forgettable as you think… after all he is one of the student 6… They are major focuses of this season… I honestly think that gender had something to do with it as we havent had a solid gay shipping in a while
Why though? I mean, Sandbar was completely forgettable. is it because they’re the only 2 guys in the group?

What’s wrong with a straight ship? Honestly, there’s so many gay/lesb ships it’s getting to the point where you’d think there won’t be a gen 5, if you know what I mean.
