That is a terrible philosophy to live by to an absolute. If you don’t care what others think do you not bother showering, making yourself look good, keeping certain opinions about others to yourself and so many other variables that would isolate you socially?
I agree that you shouldn’t stress over what others think, but there’s a lot of gray.
