Yeah, but it’s pretty mundane. He was out in a boat fishing one day and she popped out of the water to scold him for dropping a hook into mermaid territory as one of them could get skewered on it as they swam by. He apologized, took his line in, and asked if there was a better place to fish. Realizing it was an honest mistake she offered to just bring him some fish in exchange for a beer. He accepted, she brought him some fish, and joined him in his boat for a beer. They got talking, hit it off, and a relationship formed :D
