I’m also on the autism spectrum. Although I use hyperbole all the time so I’m not anywhere nearly as literal as Mudbriar. I do have a compulsion to fix people’s grammar all the time though.
 
Other than being a bit inconvenient for people who have to wait in lines Mudbriar isn’t really such a bad guy. Throughout the episode he didn’t really show any ill will towards Pinkie in fact he’s been pretty patient with her. He’s basically a male Maud.

My thoughts exactly. I’m on the autism spectrum and have a literal mind myself. I’m not as literal as Mudbriar nor do I speak in monotone, but I can still identify with him. Sheldon I can never identify with because of what a complete jackass he is.

You know I like Mud briar. He’s basically Mauds Cheese Sandwich. Could you imagine a role reversal episode where Maude sees Cheese and gets super annoyed by his antics? I have this theory that Pinkie and Maud have some sort of sisterly bond that makes each other oblivious to their ecentriesies. That’s why Pinkie never gets bored of Maud and Maud never gets annoyed by Pinkie. That’s my theory at least.

The only thing thing they have in common is they have dry delivery and are socially awkward. Mudbriar doesn’t have a superiority complex like Sheldon does. The comparison is so shallow.

Why do people seem to think this. Sheldon Cooper is a much more energetic and lively character. Yes there both pretty autistic but there totally different characters. Just my opinion though.
