The 150cm is at the withers btw, and the 91-106cm is for the top of the head.
So even more of a difference there.

Large ponies are just short of 150cm, D&D goblins (Which seems to be where Weaver gets his inspiration) are 91 – 106cm acording to the monster manual.

The average pony is about as tall as your crotch at the withers. Big Mac is taller than that but still hardly a towering giant.
