Ah I see, that’s a shame. I’m surprised you didn’t go with a background pony from somewhere like Appleloosa. All Western inspired and stuff. But hey I can appreciate the effort to find a reason to put them together. I do like that their colors compliment each other.

I don’t know either, but all the other ones I wanted to pair AJ with turned out to be from flashbacks, and were thus either dead or too old. :/
None of the common AJ ships really clip with me (At least, not so far).
Since he’s a BG pony, though, I can make up just about any personality and backstory for him that I want, and I felt like he looked like the kind of stallion that, despite being from someplaces like the Crystal Empire, could really appreciate Applejack’s need to work hard and whatnot. He wouldn’t really have a knack for it himself, but he’d be happy to help in what few ways he could, tending mostly into inside stuff probably.

Interesting, I mean I like the idea of RD with an Equestria Games competitor. Not sure what Golden Vas’ got going for him.
The pony list called him Golden Vas (fan-given name).
Yo who the heck is the stallion that’s paired with AJ? Got a name or a scene you took him from? I’ve never seen him before ever.
Oh trust me, I was torn on that one. I had 3 stallions lined up to pair with Fluttershy, but in the end I decided none of them suited her well enough, since I had already paired Big Mac by the time her name came up on my roll.
I do have a couple of pairings that aren’t on here, including one with Zecora, and one with Queen Chrysalis. Considering putting Gilda in there, too.
Going by the tags, RD is shipped with a pegasus stallion named Stormbreaker who showed up in the Equestria Games representing Cloudsdale as an ice archer. It’s unusual to see a hetero ship for RD that isn’t Soarin’ but it’s a decent take. An Equestria Games competitor makes for an interesting lil’ dynamic there, they’d probably have similar personalities and could know each other from sharing a home city.
I agree, I don’t quite remember him either, though he look rather familiar. I have the same issue with the stallion RD’s with, hardly recall who that was. For a sec I thought that was Star Tracker.
Either way, this is cute, I can get behind all of them, granted I only really care for at the most 5 of ’em, but, eh, whatever. Gotta say, some cute nextgen characters right here.
