Not US$, just the same symbol
Depends. Does it come with a free pony inside?
I like your user name.

“Aro”: Hoop, ring, or loop. And “Fruti”, is well, fruity.
The cereal’s name is literally “Fruity loops.” My guess is that they changed the last part to avoid some kind of copyright with Kellogg’s as “Fruti Lupis,” is the earlier name for Fruit Loops in Mexico - some say, pre 1988 - while the first portion is a “hook,” commonly found in similarity-brands. The cereal is still widely known under that name and I don’t remember hearing Fruit Loops until sometime in the late 2000s.
Edited because: Spelling and grammar.
I was already aware of that
It’s not as if it was going to poison you or anything.
I’m a little annoyed that the US never got pony cereal, ever. Especially when we get licensed cereals for everything else under the sun.
I mean, it is a knockoff. The “Generic” if you will. A way for Wal-Mart to undercut everyone’s price point and claim that their product is practically the same. This is fine for some things, but I wouldn’t trust GV cereal, even if it does have a picture of a cute pone on the front.
Huh, thought it was just some knockoff.
@kircher
“Great Value” is Wal-Mart’s own brand. So it is Wal-Mart doing the licensing deal.
30 Mexican Peso = 1.61 USD
Seems to be a great value if it’s on the other side of the non-existing wall…
$30
ha
It’s called “copyright infringement.”
No idea how a cheap brand like great value can license so many popular IPs.
I guessing they are from Mexico those cereal boxes in question cause i live in the USA
