Indeed. If the comic is getting a physical distribution and the change is to avoid C&D, that’s totally understandable. I certainly have nothing to say against that. ^_^
I’m not entirely sure how it’s being distributed, or if it’s making profit in any way. I didn’t ask, but I did ask about the design. It’s not an oversight, rather, a stylistic choice.

Idts. Look at the tail. Colors are: blue, green, yellow, RED (WTF), orange and black
Let me be clear, everything else about the art is fantastic. That black stripe in the mane is the only distracting part.

I actually meant “What was the thought process behind this design choice?” Replacing the purple in her mane with black and doing nothing else is kind of a head-scratching decision to me.
