I don't understand how people can defend the fact that Twilight, THE Twilight Sparkle, the one we've seen do a ton of badass magic spells in the show, is suddenly reduced to practically Trixie-levels of magic ability just so they can continue to be put in peril cand then go "Yep, that's totally logical. I see nothing wrong with this. It's completely in line with the show."
