I needed more art of them in their pirate outfits, and I needed more movie tickle art, so why not kill two birds with one stone? (Or rather, why not tickle two set’s of feet with one feather?)

Twilight: She is trying her hardest to convince the pirates that she isn’t ticklish and they should just ignore her, which they are not buying for a second X)
 
Fluttershy: Worried about how much tickling she is going to get. Even the most gentle brushes of the feathers would be too much for her…
 
Rainbow Dash and Applejack: They made a bet with eachother to see who lasts the longest, loser owes the winner 50 Bits. But going by how ticklish they are in canon, I don’t think they will last very long XD
 
Rarity: She seems to be looking forward to this, as long as the tickling doesn’t run the pedicure and foot pampering she got. It was a nightmare trying to find a decent file on this ship, and she doesn’t want to go through it again!
 
Pinkie Pie: Probably start laughing before the feathers even touch her. Will most likely do a very bad pirate voice and talk about how they are after her “treasures” and are tickling the information out of her.

Maybe this is how they convince her to join their side? Not through song but by going “Hey, if you leave the Storm king and join us, you can tickle our feet as much as you want!”?

I freaking love that pretty much all of them look like they’re looking forward to it.

It look like one again twilight and her crew has gotten themselves captured by Captain Celaeno. As always they will be their guest until the other princesses pay for their ransom, but it seem that the girls don’t mind being guest of Celaeno for a few days.
