Also regardless of of what’s happening in regards to G5, I’m sure G4 is still going to get attention by the fanbase. If people can still make G1 fanart for both Transformers and MLP, then the fans making more content for G4 even when it’s over can still be done.

That would be. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel, DC, and even Pokemon have all dabbled with different universes/continuities colliding so it would be neat if something like that happened with MLP.

They continued making and distrubting G3 stuff for a bit when Friendship is Magic came out. Not to mention, Transformers has the habit of doing similar things from time to time. In fact Transformers still releases G1 and Beast Wars related toys and comics. So that happening with MLP doesn’t seem to be too far of a stretch for me.
