Even the worst modern car is way safer than anything from the 70’s, when the Beetle got its last updates on a design from the 30’s.

Also; super pedantic point here, but; when did the original Beetles get shoulder belts? I only remember them having lap belts yeah, I’m that old.

Reliant Robin
 
And when on road-trips with the rest of the Mane 6:
 
A large SUV  
A minivan  
An RV/motorhome  
The Sparkle Bus :PPP
 
Basically, I imagine Twiley being most comfortable when behind the wheel of a Mom Car. :P

And “LuLu” is Luna’s nickname in some fanfics though technically Luna is Flurry Heart aunt I believe and not her grandmother.

I have no idea where that trend would come from, but I do think she’d be the type to drive around one of these hilarious ice-cube shaped cars, whatever the color be.

This is the third pic I’ve seen Twilight Sparkle in a blue VW Bug, so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s a thing now. 👍
