I know this picture is not a serious headcanon or anything and that it’s just a silly joke, but I’d rather keep this sort of junk out of Equestria and ponies in general.

It would take a monstrous, unrealistic draft to reduce the stallion population to what we see in background pony crowds. I’m just gonna take the doylist route and say the lack of stallions we see is due to it being a girls cartoon, and the fact that the animators reuse the same art assets constantly, sometimes even more than once in the same shot.

gender discrimination swings both ways. i would like to see colts with more fame on tv. they may have finally got well payed jobs but televsion still rarely shows them or uses them as a means to an end instead of having a main plot. i would personally like to see an episode centered around colts or maybe do what they did with adventure time and just swap the sex of all the characters for one episode.
