I swear I saw a chunk of bubble wrap, took it and decided that this would be this weeks drawing. An hour and a half later this happened.

One per second? With four hooves? Hmm…don’t ask why, but now I have a vision of Luna, on the moon, driving a steamroller, to pop as many bubbles as possible. :D

your current filter.If it’s hard for her to find out, it’d be harder for Celestia to find out.
Of course, that’s assuming she is completely perfect in her bubble popping methodology. Can you imagine only having a few left, and having to scour the entire moon for the unpopped ones? This is made even worse by the fact that popped bubbles and unpopped bubbles are very similar visually, so you have to look closely or touch them to tell if it’s popped or not.

Ah your mathematical calculations always please. Lets stick with 1,000 years instead. With all the sources I have read, Luna would be dead by the amount of time. As she is just long lived, not immortal.

Time for a Fermi estimate!
1 bubble = 4 cm2
moon radius = 1700 km
moon area = 4pi r2 = 12.5 * 2.89e6 km2 = 3.5e7 km2 = 4e17 cm^2
so there are 1e17 bubbles on the moon.
If one bubble = 1 second,
then all of them takes 1e17 seconds = 1e12 days = 3e9 years = 3 billion years.

Rather than banishing Luna for 1000 years, Celestia tells her “I’ve covered all of the moon in bubble wrap. When you’ve popped every single bubble, you may come home.”
Edit: And to make it fair, Luna can’t use magic to help pop the bubbles. I wonder how long that would take?

I didn’t do that but I did draw an office in the floor out of dirt and talked to my self in the play area because no one talked to me.
It would’ve that odd if I didn’t countinue that cringe worthy behavior up until I was 13 in front of a bunch of middle schoolers. It’s no wonder why I got my backpack dumped in the toilet.
