Oh, and one more thing: in short, blue giants are too hot for any life to survive or develop, so if EqG’s sun were really blue, this scene would have been a barren rockscape.
Yet, the Sun in Equestria Girls looks yellow. Perhaps the designers of this astronomy room made a stylistic mistake to make the Sun look more awesome, although this would have made Equestria’s sky and plants look more different and the planet to have a more disasterous and shorter history in spite of its longer, age-like years for the star’s possible size. Or that Equestria would have been a barren, baked rock, because the star would be too unstable for life to develop.
Also, did you notice that the continents on EqG Earth resemble the Americas?
