Perhaps she dismissed it as “It’s lil Spike first drawing so he made a mistake or just added wings because kids draw weird shit yo”
Wearing different clothing, having a different number of appendages… same thing really!
maybe younger twi saw it and thought it was just a cute drawing and nothing else, maybe she thought since spike saw princess celestia with wings that baby spike would draw twi with wings cause some kids draw there parents in other clothing and stuff like that

Hmm good point…i wonder if she did ever look at the picture…The change indeed is there…sometimes you just dont notice it…like twilight said “doesnt look like anything has changed”
I noticed, just surprised she said nothing changed. perhaps she didnt look at the picture
Remember! Twilight in this comic went back in time, So the theory of “stepping on a butterfly changing the future” comes into play.
Spike did see twilight as an alicorn, So in theory baby spike drew this picture because future twilight had wings thus planting this picture for the future as we see now.
Mind fuck i know. But i would have loved to see past twilights reaction to the drawing of her “Wings” lol
