Don’t care. Still like the others more. I find her to be just a bland generic “nice girl” now. She was interesting in Rainbow Rocks and that’s it.
You can probably blame Starlight Glimmer for the fact that her character feels overused now. At least Tempest Shadow in the movie had a unique personality instead of just “Twilight 2.0”.

She’s the only character who matters in equestria girls, with twilight in second place.
the other 5 are just bland cardboard cutouts with zero interesting traits or potential. Sunset is a completely new character, with loads to explore.
without sunset the series is just a pile, with her its actually interesting. its why She’s the group’s central figure in the intro they made for the series.
Not every Equestria Girls thing has to involve Sunset. She’s not the only character who matters. I hope the series doesn’t focus solely on her.
