And that’s nice. I used like G1 when I was younger too. I don’t blame you for putting a bit of G1 in your art style. There’s just something cute and quaint about it that makes it rather appealing.
I recognize the horn style there, but im not sure about the face style looking like g1.

Paying more attention to it, there is actually something familiar; the sharp point on the line of the face where the cheek ends.
Also their hairstyles had many curls as this pone.
I can see that, both G1 and G4 had ponies that were less stylized and looked more like real ponies.
This looks similar in realism, not so stylized as the current generation.
Well, that is true, they kinda look like the 4G’s stallions, but girly.

No, I think I can kinda see the G1-esque style in here too. Especially with the shape of the horn and face.

Well I kinda thought it was like a mix of current MLP’s art style with the 1986’s art style.
Their ears are smaller too.
I dont think so. 3G pony eyes are really small compared to this ones, and their snouts are wider
Starlight kinda looks like a pony from the 3rd generation MLP…
Not that that’s bad or anything!

Aww. I’m so glad to see this. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I understand how they feel too in regards to struggling on having the drive to draw sometimes. I hope this picture being on featured as well as the positive reaction it’s getting gives this the artist the happiness and incentive to draw more. I really love their art and wish to see more of it.

I have issues with spring as a season. Its the season that is cold as frik in the morning that you have to wear a coat. Only.to be trolled by noon time when things become hot. Deciding what to wear can be a pain.
Don’t get me started on those allergy jerking pollens and dusts that proliferate during this season.
With all that aside. This is a beautiful piece.
