Not to change the subject but if they existed by the time of FoE, I’d get the feeling they’d cheer RD on when she became the Ministry of Awesome’s head…and were most likely the first to be executed by the Enclave for “supporting a traitor” even when she abandoned the clouds.

It’s about right. Most of the scenes with Dash’s dad and mom together have her at about nose-height to her husband. Dash’s dad looks like he’s based on Big Macintosh’s model, just with wings, so he’d be about a head taller than most mares.
