Heck, interpreting the finale as a DnD session makes it even more awesome. It even fits: ancient rituals gone wrong and sealed evils returning, everypony rolling for skills they’re proficient in,sword and shields and sorcery, and the final boss is defeated with a history and persuasion roll.
