I want to believe that when she casts her spell at the end of this clip, she’s actually exploding or vaporizing Sunburst. :p!

If you go frame by frame, you can see the exact moment that her last happy childhood memory dies.

They are cute together, but for me this episode actually showed why they shouldn’t be together. Sunburst’s introversion and lack of people skills causes him to be oblivious to the feelings of others and unintentionally hurt them. Starlight is too fixated on a the past and how things ‘should’ be regardless of how things actually are. Maybe in the future but as of this moment I just see two emotionally stunted ponies who need to work on themselves a bit before their ready for a relationship

I’m certain I don’t know what you’re talking about. I was expecting some yandere stuff based on this comment seeing it before the episode but she was just totally sweet.  
I think you overestimate the significance of magic in a society that routinely uses it for fun and recreation. There was nothing creepy about this?

This scene reminds me of one clop fanfic i once skimmed. Anyway, Starlight seems to like Sunburst more than a friend, or at least thats the impression they gave me, I would actually love it if they do actually reveal that she does like-like him.
 
I know its out of the show’s priority, but they can do that to Starlight she isn’t a mane6, but its probably too daring for a friendship show. If they did eventually do it it wouldn’t be too “out of nowwhere” like big mac/sugar belle. Sunburst can be too oblivious about it

I like it. I like how, for all Starlight’s magic, she just seems really sad and helpless in times like this.

It’s honestly kinda endearing as long as it’s currently avoiding the physical consequences, the way your cat leaving you a dead mouse means that it cares for you a whole lot. Really sets her apart from the more level-headed crazy magic users like Twilight.

Starlight is all about creepy.  
We have two seasons worth of Starlight that clearly show she doesn’t process things like other ponies and obviously has several disorders.  
Still an adorable pone and I want her to heal.

Am I the only person who thought this scene was really, really, really, Really, REALLY creepy?
 
I’m not sure which is more disturbing: that Starlight Glimmer knows age-regression spells, or that she felt the need to use them on her boyfriend and herself to “reconnect” with him.
