I thought he was acting really weird. And I tend to put myself in Twilight’s place, which means in this case that I was feeling part of her annoyance and disturbance. Because he was getting too close to her almost all the time, making her feel uncomfortable.
But yeah, I know that all the bad things that happened to her (and to him) in that zeppelin were mostly Iron Will’s fault. And I wrote that comment some minutes before seeing Daneasaur’s point of view, which actually made sense to me. Now I feel bad for Star Tracker too. Not only for Twilight.

Did you watch the episode? I don’t think you did. If you did watch it you weren’t paying attention or didn’t understand the situation.
He was not stalking her. He was a contest winner and was her adoring fan. He did nothing bad to twilight that deserved physical punishment.
I don’t see that. Even if she did know he was right behind her, the stress and frustration of the situation was clearly affecting her mind; it’s entirely possible she simply forgot about him in the moment. Moreover, the dialogue also implies it was an accident.

At least it’s more in character than stealing the pearl of transformation and blowing up at her friends. Granted, that scenario did have its reasons, but still.
I think she just turned around and he was there on her personal space

Not gonna make a forensic investigation out of it but the stomp kinda struck me as deliberate. Especially because at that point she should have known he’d be directly behind her.
Aye, and he still respects her to stand up to Iron Will for her sake.
The point is nopony is perfect. Like you never buck up despite knowing better.
*Yeah no
Yeah know,it was very clear she was pushed to a breaking point because the day with her parents didnt go as planned because Iron Will more or less scammed her to ride on her popularity
It’s not really “resorting to violence”, though. She didn’t intentionally crush his hoof; stepped on it by accident and then lashed out at Star Tracker because it was partially his own fault for standing way too close to her.
I think most people like Star Tracker and see him as socially awkward, talk about him being a stalker was mostly an initial impression or done in jest.
As for Twilight, Princess of Friendship or not she has her limits. Her mistake was bottling up everything so she could be the “perfect princess” for everyone. Her experience with dealing with her fans is decidedly more limited than her friendship experience too. And recall this blow up happened after a entire day of working and catering to everyone.
Really, what she did in this episode is a long established character flaw for Twilight, albeit expressed in a bit of a different way.

My point is that twilight’s the princess of friendship. She isn’t supposed to be blowing up. She has a student for crying out loud! She should be setting the example! He posed no threat to her in any way and was totally compliant in her commands when she communicated them. Why is everyone saying this guy is a creep when she did not clearly communicate to him? She behaved like a child that needed a timeout sitting in the corner for 15 minutes. For someone who has over 6 years of friendship experience I think this one Twilight handled the worst. This story plot device sucked.
I don’t think she intended to step on him, so no she didn’t resort to violence. What she did in anger was blow up at him over it rather than genuinely apologize.
She didnt attack him,she stepped on his hoof by mistake then got angry. And it’s not, people hre keep getting angry at “Karma Houdini” and whatnot that’s why the show is constantly about character apologizing nowadays
It wasn’t even on purpose though.
