I don’t know why the Slug Trolls didn’t appear in the movie despite the Slug Troll Swamp being seen on the map of Equestria, and/or possibly on the map we see in the film, and/or the Cutie Map in season eight. I wore if these Slug Trolls are canon and if there’s possibly a deleted scene which featured the Slug Trolls. However, in one of the early drafts of the film, the Mane Six and Spike nod their balloon at the Slug Troll Swamp. And Tempest sunk Captain Celaeno’s ship near the swamp. However, in the actual film, they landed near Mount Aris because according to Rarity, they would have land at the bottom of Mount Aris. And Tempest sunk the pirate ship near Basalt Beach. But since we saw several debris falling into the water when the ship is sinking, it may be possible that we would have had a scene of Capper, Celaeno, and the pirate parrots being strand near the Basalt Beach and sees som Slug Trolls near the Slug Troll Swamp. Also, the Gameloft event “New Horizons” which is set during the movie explains what happened to Capper, Captain Celaeno and her crew after their ship was destroyed they escaped the destruction of the latter’s ship and went to Klugetown to lead the inhabitants of the city to revolt against Verko. Celaeno and Capper realize their common interests in helping the Mane Six, and decide to set out after Celaeno used her treasure to pay off Capper’s Debt But Verko refused to let them go due to causing him problems. He attempted to arrest Capper and Celaeno, who in turn the rest of Klugetown, who also hated him, to rise up and kick him out. But unfortunately however, he returns to town and forgives them. While Capper and Celaeno give up and went back to the Basalt Beach to help the ponies and Skystar save Equestria from the Storm King’s wrath.

Well, the climax of the finished film took place back in Equestria in the capital city of Canterlot where the Mane Six, Spike, and the new characters fight against the Storm King and his Storm Army to restore the magic and everything that the Storm King and his Storm Army have caused to Equestria throughout the film back to normal again.

Yeah, I honestly expected that the climax of the movie was gonna take place there.

I wonder what Storm King’s realm would have actually looked like if it was seem in the movie?
