Technically, the Mane 6 only took care of Nightmare Moon & Discord. Shinning Armor & Candence took care of Queen Chrysalis with love magic and Candence had help from an ancient gem to destroy Sombra.

Nightmare moon still had good in her enough to be purified. Discord is just too powerful to be destroyed. Chrysalis can easily return though, especially now that Shining Armor is busy with the crystal empire. The first two at least make sense as to why they didn’t destroy them.

Someone/something/somepony will probably be corrupted by the horn and its magic, becoming evil. I’m guessing the horn will probably try to get its user to revive Sombra, although it might just be a plain old evil artifact.

While I don’t think Sombra himself will be coming back, that glowing horn has potential to be a very interesting plot point down the road.
 
@RIG I think this is less a case of “never say die” and an attempt to convey the magnitude of his death. He wasn’t just killed, he was blown to pieces.

To be fair, he was a shadow entity without a solid physical form only a few seconds prior. Also, we did see his decapitated horn spread corruption without its owner, as well as seeing him regenerate it easily when he had a moment to spare.
