Description

Finally got to the Ursa Minor boss fight. Let me tell you how it plays out.

Tempest has an attack that she launches at the Ursa to lower its health. This attack recharges every two hours. Her attack has a base power of 12, but that power can be increased through “helpers”, other ponies assigned to help Tempest fight. In the tutorial stage, that pony was Bon Bon. On the second stage, those ponies are Wind Rider (250 gems, adds +8 to your power) and Nightmare Moon (1000 gems or $30 in the bundle, adds +20 power).

There are two rewards for each round. One is just for completing the fight, and the other is for completing it in a window of time. In this second round, you have 1 day and 11 hours (a total of 35 hours). With no helpers, it will require 13 attacks, and with attacks regenerating at 2 hours each, that means it can be completed in 26 hours. But that also means you have to check the game every two hours, or you lose precious time.

I’ll post another update once I reach the last stage.

The timer for tempest has been failing me as well but it has been helping me instead by turning 2 hours into 30 minutes. That said if I want hwr I still need to pay for gems to shoot the ursa. Have the mistery pony been appearing to you? According to the game tempest gives maps but so far she is nowhere to be seen.

Hoops’ timer bugged yesterday for me and showed 6-12 hours less than was the actual case (not that I realized at the time, without about 14 hours left but still needing 9-10 bomb launches to defeat it) so I got discouraged and put less effort into being punctual with my bomb launches with the countdown timer. The timer ended up fixing itself but it was too late and I missed out on him only by a few hours as a result.

For the Clues mission, you have three possible ponies who can search for the Clues: the explorer pony, the detective pony, and the muddy pony. Muddy is sold in his own bundle, and is guaranteed to produce two Clues. The other two have about a 75% chance of producing one Clue. You can do it with the Explorer Pony alone, but it’ll take a while.

Still in the mission of getting clues. I have limited budget. What do I really need for the next missions?
