Anything can be erased from reality. A single caress from certain entities could undo an object forever.
Then again, one magician erased the entire concept of “Hearth’s Warming Eve” from reality, so maybe it’s possible erase the concept of “Voldemort/Tom Marvolo Riddle” in it’s entirety.
True. A black hole would not work because his body could be destroyed, but sealing him away, that would make it harder for Moldybutt to return.
Voldemort even in books was kinda incompetent (treating breaking mind block with Crucio like thing only genius could think of, or thought that only he found Room of Requirement), but he still had his Horcruxes, so defeating him still will be a lengthy quest. Throwing him in a blackhole would only result in him resurrecting somewhere else (if he still had his Death Eaters, of course).
Starswirl was pretty much a real master of the arcane. He could throw someone in a blackhole if he wanted to, erasing a pretty much pathetic parody of a dark lord from reality is no challenge. In generam Hasbro creates mages that put any wizard written by Rowling to shame in a monthly basis. I mean, a direct conforntation between Voldemort and Jace Beleren would end up in Voldemort dropping with his mind made jelly.
Starswirl did not dabble in soul magic, AFAIK.
