So I kind of enjoyed reading on the comments last week on the new style since that was ultimately the comic that was gonna lead into this massive new frontier on where I am trying to go on my comics. I was surprised on a minor group of people out there that I will say were totally being idiots for not reading the description on the last comic. I literally said it was the first time trying the new style out yet people were like “omg it’s terrible” or other junk like that. :XD: IDK if people are stupid or what but IDK how someone who is trying to overhaul a style is suppose to perfect it in their eyes in one comic. Again not to be bias or anything but I personally think I am a target for a good bit of folks no matter what I do but whatever. But that said we press on with this beast of a comic. Remember this is 2 months old since it was completed, maybe with 10 mins polish night before EP, and just putting it out now cause the episode. :) Whatever mistake I do I will keep in there. Now….the Muffin is tricky in this.
 
 
So here’s something I checked…I haven’t made a Starlight and Trixie comic before this one. Separate yes but together no but damn this was a sick comic and I LOVED making this one. This comic actually was being worked on just after the movie trailer dropped and I decided to take a stab at the movie style and the idea just how much time takes place when the ponies go on these insane trips. :P Still was playing around on simplish posing, kind of, and still feeling out the new style but you can see a far better difference on this one compared to the last one but that was natural….baby steps…baby steps. I struggled a lot to plow down these BGs. Over the many years out door BGs used to be my forte but up until I say S5, indoor backgrounds I been making a lot more and naturally the outdoor ones have been more of a pain in the ass. I remember when I was working on this I was struggling cause there’s soooo much I put into these and stuff on the castle and front I never tried yet to make. Oh and coupling it with the new style was overload to do my 6 day time frames. Oh and don’t worry on the terrible movie style Twilight. Trust me….I know it looks like something that if you threw a paint ball at a wall it’s kind of what it would look like. :P The movie style is deceptively not simple. I gave it my best shot as a first attempt to make it look somewhat good but it’s rough. :P Don’t expect me to do much with that….I will still try and better this new style as we go as I can do much more with it. So overall I must say as for 1/2 half comics so far this is by far my favorite comic so far but next week I got a classic one. :P Oh and you will see me beginning to mix up the hair of the ponies compared to the show here and there….just a matter of preference a little like Starlight in this one.
 
 
Anyway that’s all on this one. Again was still feeling out stuff…but I did learn the thinner line art makes a hell of a lot of difference. I do like the hybrid between some what realistic and cartoon and show style I got going on. Did add the tiny muscle lines cause it really does look better with them. :) I need to check which episode is next week but you can damn well be sure this back half of the season I did a GOOD # of comics in the classic series I got. You know which series that is cause back when I was making these 2 months ago the episodes didn’t give me a lot to work with on synopsis so I went to a fall back option for the synopsis to make it as stupid as possible. :P Oh and side note I am starting a college class again so you can see why it was a good thing I got so far ahead on these comics when I did….I plan for this so all I may need to do the night before the EPs is a slight polish of 10 mins or so. Ok…onward to the next S7 comic.
