Well, Boulder Media was the one to animated the Equestria Girls Summertime Shorts as well as Rainbow Roadtrip.
Prodigy.
Also this walking animation is cracking me up, it’s so derpy looking :3
But really, it would’ve been fine as a webm or a smaller resolution gif, but not this 14mb 720p monstrosity.

While you are correct that Toonboom is a program, the way puppets are made and rendered in toonboom makes a lot of content produced with it have a feel that is very identifiable as having been made in toonboom, which some might consider a “style”.

Yeah, I imagine this movie has shifted around a lot of the animation team. And YT shorts probably wound up as the lowest priority. Still a fun little short, the chalk-board effects were interesting.
Well, different people get assigned to different stuff, perhaps they were one of the less skilled or newer animators, or they weren’t given enough time or money to iron it out.
Yeah, that probably one thing I noticed about the legs.

hooves also glide across the floor, her entire body is bobbing up and down like a horse does while walking but her legs aren’t shortened to account for this so she’s even less aligned with the floor. There’s very little to no movement in the joins of her legs, they just jump between 2 different poses while tweening them back and forth, hence the “noodly” appearance.
Pretty much, but spaghetti legs is funnier. XD
Still, it looks weird.

The animation has her walking with a two-step rather than the four-step that horses actual do when walking.
