Blushing not related to embarrassment, hearts appearing around the character, that sort of thing. Plus not already being into someone else (i.e. another of these shorts show SciTwi is still into Timber, and the movie has Sunset openly happy about their relationship).
 
But mostly I am against “they touched affectionately” being used as shipping fuel, especially in shows where the characters all touch each other a lot anyway.

And SciTwi puts an arm around Rarity shortly after. is that also shipping fuel? The lyrics are about friendship, why read sexual orientation into it? This show tends to be pretty blatant when it comes to characters that are attracted to each other.
 
Sorry if I’m a killjoy, but I just have high standards when it comes to shipping fuel.
