It’s hard to say, Super starts out pretty weak with the Battle of Gods and Res F Rehashes (especially the later) but it starts to really pick up once it gets to actual fully new content with the U6 vs U7 Tournament, then the Future Trunks arc despite having kind of a messy ending was IMO the best Dragon Ball arc since Cell (and had the best villain/villains (I mean considering all the time travel and versions of the same character who is the main villain it’s hard to say “villain or villains) and the current Universal Survival Arc has just been really solid all around and has done a better job at actually making the cast outside of Goku, Vegeta and Gohan relevant than anything since the Freeza saga really. I mean fuck even freaking Master Roshi has gotten some damn cool moments and actually has a focus episode coming up. Not to mention the insane amounts of ass 17 and 18 have been kicking.
Generally pretty much everything past the Movie rehashes kicks GTs ass outside of maybe the Baby Saga which to be fair was pretty good. And Hell despite all their flaws id still watch the Movie rehashes over the total mess that was Super 17.

That’s not the problem, and what you’re both saying is misinformation. The reason why Super had art/animation problems from the beginning was because the crew working on the series had to rush to make it. There wasn’t enough pre-production time and that’s why we had that infamous episode 5 debacle (which isn’t an issue now since they took time to clean it up for the DVDs).
Good art and animation takes time. Even the best animators will mess up if they don’t have enough time for their work, and just having a big budget isn’t going to make things better.
There’s a couple of videos that discuss these topics.
Dragon Ball Super Production Issues Explained
Does Budget Affect Animation Quality? To What Extent?
Even though GT has a place in my heart, I believe Super has surpassed it with some good fight scenes such as Goku vs. Hit that remind me of the old Z days.

The series was very well animated in the fight of vegito vs zamasu having great quality and rhythm by now have maintained a blalance in fact many praised the sequence of scenes of the transformation of golden frieza

that is false
GT was so bad that it was canceled in episode 64 that people the nostalgia for a non-canon story is another thing and unlike this super is kept in the top 10 best anime
The animation was also not consistent especially in the baby arc
So true, all the way up to the Zamasu arc many people were complaining of the inconsistent art quality on various episodes. One episode things looked OK, a different episode it looked like they hired some sweatshop level workers in order to rush doing lines or shapes for the characters. Seems like it’s gone now though and they’ve maintained some stability in the animation quality at least.
No, it’s not as good as Dragonball Z. The only series that even came close to being just as good as Dragonball Z was Dragonball GT.
After GT Toei took a break from making Dragonball anime. Problem is, they took waaay too long of an break after GT for 20 years that they forget how to draw an Dragonball anime the right way. Yes, it has been that long ago.
That long break ruined Super’s animation style. So it’s not as good as Z or GT.
Outside of technical aspects of the first sagas .. Improved enough is just as good as anime of z at least for now
Definitely Glim-glam
IMO, not really. I think it has it’s ups and downs, but even excluding the nostalgia factor, Super isn’t quite as good as DBZ.
