There is a rumor that these shorts were animated in toon boom, however as far as I know no one has beed able to provide a source for such claims.
Yeah, so the four summershorts didn’t impress me this time
I see your point, The first three looks like deleted scenes of the first film.
Cos they were like off screen shorts of what might or could have happen in EqG1 and 3 that made them off screen scenes
And we didn’t see Sunset Shimmer in them

Well maybe the fifth Equestria Girls movie is coming this September and after that, there’ll be more and more movies and on November 26, 2017 there’s gonna be a two Netflix series called “Equestria Girls in the House” and “Equestria Girls in the City”.
Same here, I lost touch with the series sometime after “The Secret of Saurus Rock”, after that I heard there was a TV series but I wasn’t that interested.
Don’t blame you, I haven’t been watching The Land Before Time ever since the 14th movie came out, which was because I started watching MLP and started doing my two hobbies I like doing
