Optional canon.
Not completely sure. But from what I’ve read, Kkat acknowledged it as a sort of optional canon way back in the day.
Why add it in the book, though? That seems dumb.
An add-on chapter written by a fan (not Kkat) that explored a sexual encounter between Pip and her marefriend. Kkat was OK with it, and it’s made it into many of the book printings (usually with a warning card at the start of the book so people can skip it if they want).
What’s chapter 20.5?
That’ll certainly make for an interesting listen. XD
I didn’t think it’d make it, but luckily, it did.
Nice to know they got some approval.
If you’re about Kkat - yes, this audiobook approved by it’s author as I heard.
I’d guess so given one of the bullet points at source says:

Kkat allowed them to make an ACTUAL chapter book, so there’s a chance he approved this too.
