As Uganda meets with Sabe at the bottom of the rather big hill, she warns him that he should most undoubtedly re-locate himself.
He asks why, but before Uganda could answer, and actually before Sabe could even think, he suddenly makes some new friends of the springiest kind!
One jumps clear over his back, while another just barely misses the front of him.
Sabe seems to be always meeting new lopies when he least expects it doesn’t he?
This page was a lot of fun, for I got to draw some of the first true action-y sequences to the story. And also finally SPRINGBOKS!
You can really get a sense of how large Sables are compared to other smaller species of Antelopes like the Springboks. They don’t call them GIANT Sable Antelopes for nothing.
This also took me about 8 hours to fully color.
If you are wondering, none of these Springboks are Mmiri. But they could possibly be some of her relatives.
