The “victims” are done so defenseless no matter how powerful they could be, Rarity might have had her moments here and there, but I get you, we all have a hard time trying to describe how dumb she was, her friends could be worse when you think about it, not helpful at all. Sadly, it is all done for the sake of the story, it has to happen for it to continue, even if it looks forced to the point of hating some characters for how dumb they are portrayed.

These things are true, but it just means if Rarity calms down a little and thinks then she can readily free herself and escape undo torment. I think i’m just starting to get fed up with Rarity being ridiculously naive||/utterly stupid|| in this comic. She didn’t seem nearly so bad in the previous part.

Magic takes concentration. Pinkie Keen, Dragon Quest. Additionally, inhibitor rings are fan creations, there’s no reason for every fan artist ever to use them.

Well that’s the idea. No matter how much of a brat Rarity is portrayed as in this universe, you still feel sorry for her and loathe Blue Nile. Since there is a part three, we may have to wait to see if Blue Nile gets her comeuppance, so in the meantime let’s try to enjoy the ride. ^^

That’s a pretty good assessment, despite one person saying they want that almost every page. =/
I’m going to go out on a limb and say the cutesy, light-hearted spank comic (as I’m guessing is still Blue Nile’s MO) is not going to end in murder.
