Yeah, I also tire of people denying people in the center exist too.
I remember someone once said instead of grouping People left or right, Group them stupid or not stupid.
I disagree honestly. I think for the most part it was a witch-hunt.
…Which am I?
Edited
Yah, that was a bad choice of words. I was referring to how emotional connections with other people are “addictive”, for lack of a better word, due to the short term happiness they give, but then in the long term they just waste time and interfere with priorities
No, you have problems. If you want to live the introverts life, fine, your life. But comparing it to a lie destroying condition like alcoholism in all seriousness is frankly cartoonish.
As I said, when you have responsibilities, friendship is nothing but a burden
Oh dear LORD do I agree with THAT. There is no fucking way the Mane 6 could work as teachers and maintain their careers and have meaningful social lives the war Season 8-9 depicted.
Oh god I wouldn’t say that. I was continuing my previous train of thought in the past few comments of mine about how season 9 seemed to rail against those who were too bogged down by responsibilities to hang out with friends.

I mean, I agree, but this was in response to you apparently agreeing with someone who says that having friends is as unhealthy as being an alcoholic.
I’m just saying, the butter bitch has to manage a sanctuary, her cottage home where all the other pets she takes care of live, and a classroom at a rapidly growing academy. I’d say Flutters deserves some slack from her bunny friend instead of constantly being bitched at because she’s living her dream AND ensuring that they all don’t go homeless.
Oh yes, because social isolation ain’t used to hurt people either.
Yah, in the form sensory isolation/deprivation or complete isolation from human contact. Both being a couple orders of magnitude above your standard social “isolation”, which is just not interacting/connecting with people on any emotionally deep level
Edited
Only a couple of episodes was actually about racism anyway
Isolation is literally used as torture, you edgelords.
>Similar to alchhol.
Oh, that ep I haven’t seen yet. I’m referring to Putting your Hoof Down.
I don’t remember vet pony or Zecora giving her major shit (at least before and after the body swap). Just that they noticed how Angel seems to constantly want her attention.
Seeing as the Angel thing was one episode where everyone but the Mane Six were being a dick to Fluttershy, I wouldn’t count that one.
I mean look at how Angel treated Fluttershy for not giving him enough attention despite her needing to juggle her sanctuary and her responsibilities as a teacher in an academy. Or how Trixie treats Starlight because she has to be there for the people going to said academy. Or even how dejected Cheese Sandwich gets when he realizes that being the owner of a factory means you have to help oversee things and not go and see how people are enjoying what you make.
This was fake, but there were articles repeating somewhat similar claims.
Once you start having responsibilities, you learn that friendship is nothing but an unhealthy burden that gets in the way of said responsibilities, similar to alcohol

What? You think FiM naturally reached a point where they were writing stories about friends getting into arguments or being miserable in general because they have to deal with having jobs and responsibilities?
