Since Mane6 is becoming greedy with that shitty law against fan remakes (assumed as theft by fans of it) of Fighting Is Magic.

Yeah, I got what you were going for right away with a corrected executed super finisher with a slow down before the super animation kicks in. Great video regardless.
When I was animating Twilight’s hyper, I imagined the hyper had the ability to OTG. But yeah, I just noticed I made Rainbow enter the freeze frame state a few frames too early. That could’ve been why it looked a little odd. I was trying to mimic the “style” of Marvel vs Capcom 3 where the whole game freezes during the startup “cutscene” of the hyper combo.
Yeah, okay. Probably cuz the animator themselve isnt “that” good yet so some small corners were cut.
What he meant was the initial use of the super move. When you watch Rainbow bounce, there is a weird slow down moment before Twilight unleashes her Super move. Normally, this does not happen in a fighting game. It looks like a delay move, which in terms of fighting mechanics wouldn’t connect as a hyper combo finish. Instead, the Super move would still come out but it wouldnt connect to the rest of the combo, there for Rainbow would just fall to the floor and the super would just blast by doing no damage. But it is an animation so it still looks good regardless.
Doesnt feel slow to me, the video looked awesome af
Sorry. I just am saddened that Mane6 prevented fans from remaking Fighting Is Magic with a shitty law of “asking people to stop stealing it”.
And there is no way people can create an MLP fighting game that doesn’t copy Fighting Is Magic.
I’m not completely certain that was supposed to be English. Ah, well. XD
A beat-em-up would be nice. Since it’s another kind of fighter genre like Double Dragon rather than the other fighter genre that Street Fighter or Guilty Gear is about.
I should have said “2D fighting game aspect” in that reply, because I want to play an MLP fighting game, but with a shitty law Mane6 did to prevent Fighting Is Magic from being “stolen” (as in being remade like Tribute Edition) by fans, it will never happen and I am saddened.

Design it like a beat-em-up while fighting against Sombra’s brainwashed soldiers.
Since it’s that pocket timeline where everything was ALREADY more violent (RD was missing a wing, Granny Smith was dead, and children were being drafted into the military), and it’s very clearly “not a fighting game”, it’s all a go.
I meant an MLP fighting game, not an original/MLP inspired one. Also, i meant a game that differs from Fighting Is Magic, but keep the MLP characters and 2D fighter aspect.
Although TFH is looking dope.

“Them Fighting Herds” is how
And now their creators put a shitty no-stealing law to prevent fans from remaking the game without C&D’s. How can we create an MLP fighting game if Mane6 did this shitty law? If we can, how can we differ from Fighting Is Magic while staying a 2D fighting game?
Fighting is Magic is six years old.
