Not to mention, even before her “heel face turn” Diamond Tiara seemed to genuinely respect/adore him, as seen during “Family Appreciation Day” at school, she was the only kid in class not being bored/sleepy/disrespectful during his speech.
In a way, she must’ve felt jealous/upset that the other kids thought Apple Bloom’s Granny was so “cool,” and that her Dad was “boring.” Which might’ve fuelled her bitchyness.
He has been better father than Mr. Shy, for example.
Why? Other then EqG’s version of him, he’s been shown to be a nice guy, and not a snob like his wife.
