Oh yeah, some plants can move on their own. Venus fly traps can and I think I’ve heard of a plant that can move in the blink of an eye.
Well hooves aren’t all solid, there is a part that’s soft. If you’ve seen horseshoes you might have an idea of where that is.
Only the outside tip of a hoof is hard, the rest of the structure is just as fleshy and sensitive as the rest of the body.
