I like how it doesn’t go beyond S2 because the dynamic is basically completely dead afterward!

AJ and RD had great moments together in both S4E02 and S4E03 (Rainbow Dash liked that moment when she tought AJ was the one touching her… instead of “Phantom” Rarity).
Something happened at the end of S4E13 that changed things… for Applejack and Rarity.
By the end of S4E22 (train scene) it was RD the one openly shipping them together (they were acting like an old couple through the whole episode, even “proposing” each other with their “not-rings” junk gifts).
