Callback or not, it’s cool at face value that her show incarnation got the doctor’s hat and wanted to be one. Doctor and nurse roles were super stereotyped by gender and actual job in the early 90s, so you go, Sweetheart! And, er… if I’m entirely honest, I like it when the shows and other media take a friendly nibble on the hand that feeds them (“Namby Pamby was a great editor!”), so please let this be true for that reason too☺
Tubby little pones are the cutest things. I’ve always liked the earlier pony body plans for their slightly more realistic stockiness and their general lack of spindly Barbie/princessy pretensions.
(Aspiring pony doctor Sweetheart would probably furry-remind you that a gut evolved for hindgut fermentation and a grass-based diet really truly dictates a naturally barrel-shaped body for everypony. That said, only G4 and the G1 comics have ever shown ponies eating eating horsey foodstuffs, so go figure.)
