Now I actually don’t like this ship myself after reading this ._.

It was at that point, the Ticonderoga class cruiser SS Sugarmac launched a massive missile attack on the armada of other Mac ships. All were sent to the bottom.

The Big Mac shipping apocalypse. Now Hasbro will be able to make toys with their spawn. Rest in peace all the others ships that were perfectly implied or built on before. NOW KISS!

I’ll kinda miss the Cheerilee teasing, but as said if that became canon, people would still freak, (in fact, I recall some had a similar reaction back in the Season 2 days) and it would undermine the moral of that old ep’. (Which they even kinda regarded.) As said it’s probably they chose an unknown/non-existent ‘ship, then a popular one.

I enjoyed it too actually. Mac deserves a li’l sugar sometimes. :P

But you gotta admit, seeing one of the oldest and strongest potential ships (maclee) and cutest ships (fluttermac and marblemac) get burned to a crisp in front of you is kinda hard to see.

It’s cool, the end of the episode confirmed herds are canon.

What i don’t get is why there is even complain. When cherimac happened it sure destroyed the ships they were in from fanside. Same with every other tease of some kind of feelings between ponies, every time it probably splitted ships fans made that weren’t even canon.

When I first learned we were getting it, I was on board because I liked both characters and could see some possible fuel for it in-show. Some of which was even used.
 
And needless to say, a fine episode has me fully supporting it.

It’s like millions of ‘shippers cried out in terror, and were suddenly silent. (Somebody make that one for me plz.)
 
I’m curious, did anyone actually like this ‘ship? I’m not bothered by it honestly. (Though, I’ll kinda miss the Cheerilee teasing.)

To be fair, Mac and Marble’s familial relation would be so distant that’s like saying you’re related to everyone who is of the same race as you.

Don’t worry. When the writers run out of ideas but the network wants the show to continue, they’ll probably give Mac his own spinoff harem show.

Maybe they knew they were gonna upset the shippers no matter what, do they paired him with a character no one would have thought of, just to avoid favoring any existing ships.

I don’t care per see but out of all the hundreds of mare characters we have now pairing him with a rando from Glimmer’s commie village is a particularly odd choice on the part of the writers.
